  • From Bali or Jakarta, take a flight to Kupang (El Tari Airport). From Kupang, you can either take a short domestic flight (20–25 minutes) to Rote or hop on a fast ferry (1.5–2 hours) from Tenau Harbor to Ba’a Harbor in Rote.

  • The dry season between April and November is ideal, especially if you're into surfing or sun-soaked beach days. This is when the island shines with golden light and calm weather.
